Dr. Melika Shatergholi

    After receiving my dental degree from the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery in 2007, I have been quickly establishing myself in the field of Dentistry. Along the way, I have been helping thousands of patients improve their overall oral health and smile satisfaction.

    I am dedicated to giving my patients a reason to smile again with a variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures using the state of the art technology in a relaxing and friendly office. Currently, It is very important for me to continue to attend continuing education courses and advanced training sessions in order to stay abreast of the latest dental techniques and technologies. I have also completed an externship at the Washington DC Children's Hospital and enjoy working with children of all ages. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, and learning, about different cultures.

    After completing my undergraduate studies at  the University of Florida (Gators), I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland Dental School in 1993. I have been practicing Dentistry for the last eighteen years in Greenbelt and Prince Frederick, Maryland.

     In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, Behnaz and my two sons Niekon and Dustin.  I also enjoy traveling,playing basketball, watching movies and eating chocolate.
