Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a common cosmetic procedure that has gained popularity in recent years. There are three bleaching options available to our patients:
1. In office bleaching, or ZOOM whitening: By using Phillips Zoom white-speed system, we can whiten your teeth up to eight shades in a single visit. The average appointment time is about one and half hour.
2. The take home bleaching kit is the more economical way of bleaching your teeth. You can get the same result with the take home kit, but it will normally take up to two weeks of application to get the same result. Our office makes a custom fitting tray to fit your teeth. You will be given instructions how to apply the gel and you can wear the tray at night or throughout the day.
3. The final method is called Venus Systems. This method contains preloaded bleaching trays that you wear for thirty minutes a day for one week. Your teeth will become a few shades whiter, but the result is not as dramatic as the first two methods.
We also offer touch up on the go by the Phillips Zoom whitening pen which is a pen style whitening applicator to brighten your smile. You can simply apply it on your teeth.
You may experience slight sensitivity to hot or cold food items, but the sensitivity will disappear after two days.
